Why Are Some Congregations Teaching Christians To Follow the Law of Moses

*Jesus declared all foods clean*
We must stop worry about what goes into your mouth and focus on what comes out. It was Jesus who declared ALL food clean for the Christian believer. On our behalf he has fulfilled the Law of Moses without abolishing it. If we continue to live by any part of the Law and do not follow the ENTIRE Law and stumble on any part, we are guilty of breaking the entire Law AND will be Judged by the entirety of the Law. (see James 2:10) Why are some congregations teaching Christian believers to follow the Law of Moses?
And He (Jesus) said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” Thus He declared all foods clean.
And He was saying, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. ~Mark 7:19-20
Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.” However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY (ALL OF) THEM.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us– for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE “- Galatians 3:11-13
For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. ~ Galatians 2:19
Prayer: It is due to the grace TRANSCENDING the law, offered by Christ, that we gain eternal life. This is all thanks to God’s great love for us, a love explicitly shown at Calvary, when the shame of the cross was transfigured into Christ’s glory. Amen.
