God or Man?

Often when I am answering my calling in ministry, those around me will give very good and sound advice. Advisers can be a great asset and I endorse the idea of having wise advisers.

When we walk closely with the Lord we must praying our way through ministry task. Even receiving the wisest advise can sometimes make you feel a pit in your spirit. In these situations I know that it is time to pray. Seeking the counsel of the ONLY wise God, I find His plan is another direction for the mission that He has put before me. In my heart I wonder why He’s pushing me in the direction that looks to be going against the grain. Acutely aware that whatever His Plan is, if I follow Him and oppose what appears to be the most reasonable or logical path given by advisers; there will be a great Blessing waiting at the end of His path. Many who walk with me fall away because my choice to obey and follow where He leads me by Faith seems foolish. Each time I hold the ground that he’s given me, I’m amazed by the TREMENDOUS blessings that follow.

Jeremiah 5-6 (The Message)

’s Message:
“Cursed is the strong one
who depends on mere humans,
Who thinks he can make it on muscle alone
and sets God aside as dead weight.
He’s like a tumbleweed on the prairie,
out of touch with the good earth.
He lives rootless and aimless
in a land where nothing grows.
